Profometer 5

The Profometer reinforcement locator is a lightweight, compact unit for measuring concrete cover, locating rebar and measuring bar diameter quickly, simply, and with complete accuracy. The Profometer works with non-destructive pulse-induction that is largely insensitive to external interferences.

The profometer performs the following functions:

  • Measurement of concrete cover

  • Storage of individual cover values and statistical evaluation

  • Determination of bar diameter

  • Function to show reinforcing bars on the display

  • Function for grey-scale display of concrete cover

Wet Wall Detector


Non destructive moisture detector for exterior insulation and finish systems.
The detection, evaluation and accurate locating of excess moisture in substrate beneath exterior insulation finish systems can be difficult, costly and time consuming and can involve the inspector making a large number of holes in the EIF system. With this in mind, Tramex has developed a new, non-destructive, moisture meter, the Wet Wall Detector.

The Wet Wall Detector has been specially developed for the detection, location, and tracking of excess moisture within and behind EIF systems. This electronic instrument will read through fibre reinforced lamina and exterior insulation to locate and evaluate excess moisture that may be present in the sheathing substrate and wood stud.
